Clara Kelley
Clara Kelley is a second-year undergraduate in the Medical Sciences Program at UC on a pre-PA track. She is a recipient of the Critical Language Scholarship for Hindi and plans to use this award to continue to develop her cultural and professional skills. Clara is very passionate about learning about other cultures and using a perspective influenced by many different ideas to bring balance to her patient care. As a leading member of the Dahyabhai Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to get health and education resources to underprivileged communities in Gujarat, India, she is a firm believer that the best way to bring quality healthcare to all kinds of people is to become educated on the language and culture of people different from herself.
Clara is a Cincinnatus Scholarship recipient and a part of the Honors College at UC. She is very committed to the Honors mission statement of becoming a Global Citizen Scholar by learning as much as she can about others. She is a member of UC Dhadak, UC’s premiere Bollywood-fusion dance team, and is very excited about this opportunity to learn more about India and expand her cultural horizons.
